Important Safety Information
Working in venues requires strict adherence to safety protocols. A complete safety briefing will be provided prior to your event. Please read and understand the following requirements:
- Communication: You must notify the technician immediately of any issues, concerns, or incidents that arise during your event.
- Instructions: All instructions given by technicians and venue staff must be followed without exception.
- Flames and Smoke: The use of any flames, pyrotechnics, or smoke effects is strictly at the discretion of the technician and venue owner. Prior approval is required.
- Electrical Safety: All electronic items brought to the venue must have a valid test and tag certificate that is current and within date.
- Spill Management: Any spills of fluids on stage or performance areas must be cleaned immediately as soon as practical to prevent slip hazards.
- First Aid: All hirers are required to provide their own first aid kit appropriate for their event size and activities.
- Qualified Staff: You must have sufficiently qualified and responsible staff on site at all times during your event.
Failure to comply with safety protocols may result in immediate cessation of technical services and/or evacuation of the venue.
